Such was the success of our fully machined, bolt-together, kit of the GWR 15xx the initial batch of 100 is now sold out!

However, due to continued high levels of customer demand we have commissioned a further small batch with completion presently scheduled for Spring 2027.

The kit is suitable for the novice builder who will benefit from illustrated assembly instructions and a telephone helpline if advice is needed. The complete kit is delivered in a single consignment fully painted in unlined, or lined, black livery with the number of your choice.

The 15xx is also available as a factory built ready-to-run model for an extra £500. Boilers are silver soldered and UKCA marked. All models benefit from a 5 year warranty.

PAYMENT AND DELIVERY

Retail price of the kit is £6,495 and £6,995 for the ready-to-run option. Completion of the batch for orders taken now is scheduled for Spring 2027.





ORDER NOW TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT

You can reserve your kit model now for a deposit of £995.
We will request an interim payment of £2,500 in October 2026 as the manufacture progresses, a further stage payment of £2,500 in December 2026 and a final payment of £500 on completion.

The manufacture and assembly of this ready-to-run live steam model is a complex organisational task. We always prioritise quality over speed and the timetable for delivery represents our best estimate at the time of your order reservation. Delivery timing may vary by up to 16 weeks from the dates stated. We will keep you informed. In line with our policy of continuous improvement we reserve the right to improve the design of the model and upgrade materials used as appropriate during manufacture. Your order is accepted in accordance with T & C’s on website. While every effort will be made to complete the model build by the date indicated, time is not the essence of the contract.
